Acknowledgement
of Country
We acknowledge that Salisbury Park Primary School is on the traditional land of the Kaurna people. The Kaurna people have loved and cared for this land and the special rivers, like the Little Para River and Dry Creek, for a very long time. These rivers gave the Kaurna people food, water, and lots of wonderful stories.
We thank the Kaurna people and their Elders for looking after this place and sharing it with us. At our school, we acknowledge how important it is, just as the Kaurna people have taught us, to show respect for each other and the land, act with honesty, treat everyone fairly, and help everyone feel they belong here.
Every day, as we learn and play together, we remember to care for our land, our friends, and ourselves, just like the Kaurna people have done for many, many years.
